This spectacular celebration of Michael Tilson Thomas’ 25th and final season as Music Director of the San Francisco Symphony was one for the ages. From the pre-concert Scharffenberger Cellars sparkling wine promenade, to the one-of-a-kind concert, to the exciting after-party, attendees were part of San Francisco history while toasting the arts in style.

Gordon Getty's Shenandoah was included in the program. This was the first concert performance of the arrangement for chorus and orchestra. This version was previously recorded by James Gaffigan and the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic and Choir on the Pentatone release Beauty Come Dancing.
