This summer, the Festival Napa Valley presents Gordon Getty's choral work Young America in a program celebrating the American musical canon. The Volti Chorale sings under the direction of Robert Geary followed by a performance of Bernstein's On the Town, and Candide Overture with Joel Rezven and festival guest André Watts.
The concert takes place at the Lincoln Theater in Yountville on July 19.
Getty's works are frequently performed at the Festival Napa Valley, notably the world premiere of the American composer's five choral works in 2015. Watch the performance in 360 video here.
