On April 23, as part of Bargemusic’s Eclectic Series in Brooklyn, cellist Matt Haimovitz performed a selection of works from The Primavera Project, a series of 81 commissioned pieces for cello inspired by two visual works of art: Botticelli’s “Primavera” and Charline von Heyl’s “Primavera 2020.” Included in the program was the world premiere of Gordon Getty’s “Ninna Nanna,” a lullaby for solo cello.
